GEAR INK™ REFUND & RETURN POLICY

At GEAR INK™, we want you to be confident in your purchase. Because GEAR INK products are color and gear-customization products that may be opened, mixed, applied, or otherwise altered after delivery, certain return restrictions apply.

Please review this Refund & Return Policy before making a purchase.

RETURNS

We accept eligible returns of unused, unopened, and undamaged products within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

The product must be unused and unopened.
All original seals must be intact.
The product must be in its original packaging.
The product must not be damaged, altered, mixed, diluted, or contaminated.
Proof of purchase from GEAR INK or an approved sales channel may be required.

Products that do not meet these requirements may not be eligible for a refund.

OPENED OR USED PRODUCTS

For product integrity and quality-control reasons, opened or used GEAR INK color, prep, coating, or finishing products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable.

We cannot accept returns of products that have been applied to sports gear or another surface.

If you believe there is a problem with your product, please contact us. We may request photographs, video, the product lot or batch number, application details, and information about the surface or gear used.

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ORDERS

If your order arrives damaged, appears defective, or you receive the wrong product, please contact GEAR INK within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

Your name
Order number
A description of the issue
Clear photographs of the product
Photographs of the shipping packaging, if damaged
The lot or batch number, if available

After reviewing the issue, GEAR INK may, as appropriate, offer a replacement, refund, store credit, or other resolution.

Please do not discard a product involved in a damage or defect claim until we have reviewed your request and provided instructions.

COLOR EXPECTATIONS

We work to display GEAR INK colors as accurately as reasonably possible. However, colors may appear differently due to screen settings, lighting, surface color, surface material, application method, number of coats, and other factors.

Minor differences between the color displayed online and the final applied color are not automatically considered a product defect.

For best results, follow all GEAR INK application instructions and test the product on a small, inconspicuous compatible area when directed.

GEAR COMPATIBILITY AND APPLICATION

Sports gear materials, factory finishes, coatings, treatments, and surface conditions may vary.

Customers are responsible for reviewing GEAR INK product instructions and compatibility information before application.

Refunds are not guaranteed for issues resulting from improper surface preparation, application contrary to product directions, use on an incompatible or excluded surface, failure to follow drying or curing instructions, unauthorized mixing or dilution, or use of incompatible third-party products.

Do not apply GEAR INK products to safety-critical areas or surfaces specifically excluded by GEAR INK instructions.

CUSTOMIZED OR DAMAGED GEAR

GEAR INK products are intended for customization when used according to the applicable product instructions.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, GEAR INK does not provide refunds or reimbursement for the cost of sports gear solely because a customer changes their mind about a completed color or design, dislikes the appearance of a completed customization, or fails to follow product instructions.

Claims involving an alleged product defect will be reviewed individually.

KITS

GEAR INK kits must be returned complete, unused, unopened, and in their original packaging to qualify for a standard return.

Partial kits or kits containing opened or used products are generally non-returnable.

If an individual item in your kit arrives damaged, defective, or missing, contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can review the issue.

SALE AND FINAL SALE ITEMS

Products clearly marked FINAL SALE are not eligible for return or refund except where required by law or where the product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Promotional and clearance products may be subject to additional return restrictions disclosed at the time of purchase.

RETURN SHIPPING

Unless the return is due to an error by GEAR INK or an approved damaged or defective product claim, customers are responsible for eligible return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service for approved returns.

Do not ship a return until you have received return instructions from GEAR INK.

REFUNDS

Once an eligible return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the status of your refund.

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank, credit card company, or payment provider.

Shipping charges and other non-refundable fees may be deducted where permitted and applicable.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has entered processing, fulfillment, or shipping.

If the order has already shipped, the standard return requirements in this policy will apply.

RETURN ABUSE OR FRAUD

GEAR INK reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to refuse returns or refund requests involving suspected fraud, altered products, intentional product misuse, repeated return abuse, or false claims.

HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN OR REPORT A PROBLEM

Include your order number and a detailed explanation of your request.

For damaged or potentially defective products, include clear photographs and any requested product or application information.

POLICY CHANGES

GEAR INK may update this Refund & Return Policy from time to time.

The version of the policy published on our website will display the date it was last updated.
